Wit Lee (b. 2003, Thailand) is an artist working across photography and installation, based between Paris and Bangkok. Grounded in the Theravada Buddhist account of perception, his work holds the figure at the threshold of recognition. Often a shadow, an imprint, a silhouette; a person before they resolve into a "someone." There, the unperceived, the dreamt, and the departed share a single shape.
