Three states of a body hang in the room: risen, fallen, disappearing. The figures are printed on tracing paper. From a distance they read as whole; up close they separate into stains and gaps. The paper warps with humidity, tears at a touch, and lets light through.

The work draws on Asubha-kammatthana (อสุภะ), a Theravada contemplation in which the body is examined part by part until nothing in it can be held as permanent or one's own. That practice takes the body apart in the mind. Here it happens in the material. Nothing belongs to us, fully, forever.

The three states follow the Three Marks of Existence — impermanence (อนิจจัง), unsatisfactoriness (ทุกขัง), and the non-self (อนัตตา).
